The 56 closes on a waterproof gasket rated IP67 — submersible to 1 meter for 30 minutes — and an automatic pressure equalization valve lets it breathe through temperature and altitude swings without breaking the seal or vacuum-locking the lid. The polycarbonate body is impact resistant and crushproof, on rust-proof hinges — it lives at the bottom of a range bag, under gear in a truck bed, in the bottom of a pack, and it comes out shut. The Triple TwistLock latch has integrated lock points and the case ships with a keyed lock and two keys, so it snaps closed by hand and then travels locked.

The foam is cut to the round, not to the box: 100 hexagonal cavities, 0.39" wide and 1.0125" deep. Every round stands seated and snug — nothing rattles, nothing knocks together, and an inventory check takes one look. Pull what you need for the stage and snap the lid shut.
