All Evergreen cases and inserts are designed and manufactured in the United States using globally sourced materials.

There are a couple of factors that can make the boxes a little tricky to open upon arrival. First, please verify that the bar on the locking mechanism is turned vertically - you can use your hand to twist it counter-clockwise. Secondly, Please be aware that the latching assembly is a single piece that covers almost the entire width of the front of the case. It can certainly be a little confusing if you're not used to it. Thirdly, atmospheric pressure changes between our warehouse, in transit, and the final destination can create a vacuum seal effect. The first time you open the case, can require a little more effort to pry the latch mechanism up and "pop" this seal. Our Micro EDC cases have a three-stage locking system: First, the hinge itself snaps closed. engaging the front hinge in this way makes the case waterproof.
